Are you attempting your first Triathlon race? Join our training clinics to be best prepared for the OSIM Singapore International Triathlon 2010.
Training Clinics
The objective of the OSIM Singapore International Triathlon clinics is to provide beginners the opportunity to learn about the sport of triathlon and practice in a relatively safe and controlled environment, while intermediate athletes will get valuable tips allowing them to get to the next level.
Experienced professionals will touch on topics that provide the fundamental knowledge and practice required to participate in your first Triathlon race.
Participants will be able to experience similar conditions as on race day and swim safety marshals and ambulance (with paramedics) will be present in most training clinics.
Level of Participants

- From novice to intermediate
- Participants will be allocated to groups corresponding to their abilities and fitness levels
|
Pre-requisites
|
- Ability to swim 200m continuously (mini sprint distance). 100m for kids aged 7-9
- Ability to cycle for 30 minutes continuously. 20 minutes for kids aged 7-9
- A bicycle (mountain bike is acceptable) with water bottles

Registration
|
- No on-the-spot registration will be accepted
- Participant numbers per session will be limited to 70 for safety reasons
- Minimum age of the participants for adult clinic: 16
|
Note that these training sessions should be used as a way to fine-tune your race preparation and boost your confidence. They should complement your own fitness and training routine but are not intended to provide you with a comprehensive training program.

Terms & conditions
- The training sessions registration will only be confirmed upon receiving full payment for the clinic.
- For safety reasons, the number of participants during each training sessions will be limited. Slots will be allocated on a first-come-first-serve basis. Registration may close before the above closing date if full capacity is reached.
- Strictly no refund will be granted in case of cancellation, no-show, or for any other reasons
- Registration slots are strictly non-transferable
